Our advocacy project on fiscal policy that seeks to promote a rights-based approach to fiscal policy within the framework of the constitutional process in Chile. This means that decisions around how the state collects and spends its resources are geared towards satisfying the social rights of all.
Some of the objectives of the project are:
- To create spaces for reflection and debate on international standards and comparative best practices
- To create links between civil society organisations on matters of tax policy and social rights.
- To promote alternative policies for the enshrinement of principles and institutions that guarantee a rights-based approach to fiscal policy in the constitutional debate.
